Beat the new taxes:

Grow Your Own !

Roll Your Own !

While I am not promoting Smoking, I am not going to say you should or should not, that is your decision. I smoke and am furious at the Government. Every single thing that is a habit and people do or use they TAX. Unreasonable taxes. They do not want you to stop smoking, just pay more for doing so. All morning I spent on the phone with different farmers and growers talking about how to grow tobacco, where you could get seeds, ( I guess you know the seeds sold by the seed companies are for ornamental tobacco not smoking types) You have to get your seeds from a local farmer who gets his share from a government regulated supply house, there are quotos on each farm of how many acres you can grow,regulated by the State and Fed. Government. This keeps the supply low and the cost high, for the consumer not the farmer.

Most of the farmers buy plants or have a green house for starting them quickly. We ( back in the dark ages) always had a hot bed to start our plants. A hot bed is just a small square of garden with very rich sterile soil( a fire was built and burned on the section to kill any bugs and pathogens) with a glass window on a frame around it. Plants need to be a good 3 inches tall when planted in the fields after the last frost. In warm climates it should be easy to start right in the garden but I have never tried this. Plants need to have breathing room also. Plant about 2 feet apart.

Anyway..... I found a farmer who is not going to be planting this year, too many regulations and not enough money so I contracted with him to buy his share of the seeds. These seeds are organic, not gmo or hybrid. This may be the last time you will be able to get these as they are all being experimented with now and God only knows what will be added to keep them free of bugs and diseases for our own safety you know?

The seeds are very small, but expensive. But very cheap when you consider the advantage of raising your own. No chemicals added to the tobacco you smoke, just plain old tobacco, no additives to make it burn evenly or go out when not being puffed on.

I am packaging up the seeds in packs of 100 seeds ( more or less as they are too small to count individually) mostly more I suspect as I am pretty generous.

The packs will cost :

$ 9.00 plus a $1.50 shipping and handling fee. Total $10.50

for 100 seeds which will keep you in ciggerettes for at least a year.

Unless you chain smoke 24 hours a day.
